I was wondering if I was the only viewer that would
arrive at the conclusions described by the two
contributors above. I am in 100% agreement with
their opinions. Robert Ballard's work was, and
still is, the standard by which all others must
aspire to. It seems to me the engineers had some
pet theories of their own (the non-perpendicular
stern sinking, etc.) and tried hard to re-arrange
the facts to support them.
