The only thing wrong with that is that this light band appears upon the "launch" of Titanic. I will research the date of those pictures of Olympic but judging from how clean the plating is, I would have to say that these were taken before her tour of service. The presence of the gray paint would further that. There is a picture of the Olympic in the graving dock getting a propeller overhaul and the hull looks horrible. P.49 of Anatomy. There is certainly wear seen on the hull in this picture.
Those colors were painted on Olympic durinhg the war were horrible. No argument there
