I think the glass was in the portholes in the lids. I don't buy glass being across those huge openings like you get if you put in that clear plastic plug in the kit. There would need to be a lattice of some kind and we haven't seen any sign of it. I'll just put acetate behind the lids and prop them open to some extent.
