: Hello,
: I have never worked with Krystal Kleer for portholes. How is it applied?
May be applied with bottle applicator, small brush, or toothpick.
: If you have a hole drilled about 5 mm in diameter, do you first glue a peice of clear styrene in the opening and then apply the Krystal Kleer over it?
Nope. If you glue in clear plastic like a cut-up document protector, you wouldn't need KK. It looks and behaves like Elmer's glue and does the job all on it's own.
I guess I am confused as to what the Krystal Kleer adheres to in the case of a porthole.
Lots of confusion in this world. Welcome! the KK forms over the porthole like a bubble and drys mostly clear.
Hope this helps
