Raymond:
This site is not dedicated to hating Leo or hating anything else for that matter.
The reason we want to keep our focus tight here is that there are abundant forums for just about everything else out there. I'm sure there are newsgroups
for tragedies of all sorts. I personally don't think this should be the "tragedy page". That's not what it was set up for. If there was no outlet for any of those other discussions then we might want to reconsider but there are more than enough other outlets for those discussions. Actually we don't focus on the human side of the Titanic tragedy here. It is a worthy topic of discussion but
most of us think we have our hands full with the technical aspects.
For anyone who might feel shortchanged about the scope of discussion in this forum here's an idea: Start your own website that focuses on whatever you want to talk about. There have been any number of breakaway sites from this group that had the desire to focus on other areas. The day this site tries to be everything to everybody will be the day it ceases to be anything to anybody.
Nobody is trying to be harsh about this. We simply want to preserve a formula that has been a proven success. If it ain't broke don't fix it, as they say.

: I know most people here at TRMA hate Leo, as I found out on IM chats with some of them or on the Forum. I personally hate Leo also, because he is not a great actor. Leo ruined the Titanic movie and the craze, whoich would be better without him. I own Titanic on DVD. Oh, I think this forum would be appropriate to talk about disasters and tragedies like Kursk sinking, Great Galveston Hurricane, Concorde crash, and USS Cole bombing, because Titanic also faced disaster and tragedy herself, by colliding with an iceberg and siking in 2 pieces. After all, Titanic is a ship that people will never forget and powerfully relived through books and documentaries. We must not forget the human side of the RMS Titanic and what happend on the early morning hours at 2:20 AM on a Monday on April 15, 1912, a day that no one will ever forget. Well, this is how I feel.
