James,

We are the experts, you- me, all of the guys here. I had conversations with the big names. Let me tell you, they may have some copies of the things we could use but they will not allow the public to see them. Unfortunantley the big names have a different research agenda then we do and don't care about what we care about. In other words, while they keep this information to themselves in fear of it ruining their research, it also hampers our projects. I tried as hard as I could to convince these people what My objectives were. I don't care about who shot who, or who got in what boat, or who is responsible for not turning the wheel in this or that direction. I expressed this. I also told them that I am not an ocean liner memoribilia collecter. I stated that all we wanted to do was represent the sisters as they looked, the Ttanic, before she sank. I did get some help from members of the BTS and Alastair of course, but the others just can't see through competition.
When Robert and I gave out demonstartion, we had the room spell bound! People were asking us to sign their dinner cards. When I spoke in the public open areas, I would get a gathering around me. What Robert and I were saying was way over the top. For the first time, someone came in there with a whole new angle to the Titanic research! I mentioned the TMRA and the Debris field, but you will get no answers for any of the stuff from them, because they ignored our end of it all these years, and they just don't know.
Is there people in the Titanic field who found what we did, or have the access to the expertise of the cabiber of Scott Andrews? yes probably, but they don't do anything with it and sit in their homes waitng for A&E to call them to make a few lousy bucks. As far as I'm concerned, if they want to keep it to themselves, God Bless them, I certainly won't. As I said to many at the convention, "this is the reason for the Hahn plans", a public trestimony, though not cheap I know, so that the information can be accessed by the people who can't go out and spend thousands of dollars on plans and books. I won't give out photocopies of stuff that I was advised to keep to myself, but the information on the paper will be out in another form, on a different piece of paper.
Don't get me wrong, again weWILL get some help from a few of the people. Mark Warren is willing to search through his Shipbuilders for me, and there are other pieces of information still within the publics reach and I will get it.

James, we are the Experts, trust me.

Bruce
